My initial design for the macro world brief was a plain black body-con midi dress in a boiled wool fabric with big black ruffles in felt as the sleeves on the dress.

After reflection of my dress the boiled wool that I had chosen for my dress would not be able to hold the heavy felt sleeves and so I created the designs for a black patent bolero which would hold the sleeves properly and make them as full as they could possibly look.
