When designing my dress I initally wanted to laser cut into my boiled wool dress fabric although I did not feel confident enough to create a document of the shapes which is needed before laser cutting can be done.

To get over this problem I simply cut the water droplet shapes myself with my shears, into the bottom of my midi dress.

The water droplets at the bottom of the dress were large and then they gradually got smaller as they went up the dress. The droplets also got more and more spaced out as they went up the dress until they stopped completely.
