We began level 5 chucked straight back in with a live brief!  This brief was to design and sample an outfit for Renli Su’s next Autumn / Winter collection.

Renli Su is a designer who expresses sentimentality through her designs and choices of fabrics with a mix of story telling where she focuses mainly on romance, he whole ‘vibe’ is the modern romantic. Renli’s designs fall into one of her three different styles; Natural, Avant-Garde or Fairy Girl.

I looked through her designs and I quickly found that my favourite was the Avant-Garde style. I liked the see through materials she uses all year round and the simplistic but deep and meaningful black fabrics, all ranging in different textures.
