Whilst looking through a few books that we were given in a lesson period I stumbled across ‘Exhibition Design’ by David Dernie. The front cover of the book captured by eye instantly as it had these hanging tiny fairy light looking lights hanging down. I felt that this looked like snow and was something I could use in my window display to;

a) light up the display and

b) serve a purpose as making it look like it was snowing.

These lights made an interesting eye point and would help to draw the person looking in from outside to look at what I wanted them to look at; the skier wearing my clothes.

For the main lights I simply wanted to use 4 large beams at the bottom of the window lighting the whole of the display up for everyone to see into it.
