I chose to go for a pair of salopettes and a cropped puffer jacket for my garment that I wanted to be shown in the window display. I also stuck to my first initial colour palette that I had come up with. I did think about a yellow jacket with added yellow details on the salopettes but after thought I would rather the use the red as I think it is much more of a striking colour that would catch your eye. One design feature that I decided on after looking at the WGSN trends was from the bound structure trend. I added in elastic pieces wrapped around the arms and legs of the jacket and trousers as well as using them for a purpose on the cuffs, collar and waistbands. These would be the pop of red on the grey trousers and the white coat. The waistband on the coat is long and slimming being an attractive feature to women that would be purchasing it and gives the same effect as the buckles that would pull the waist of the wearer in to look slimmer. When having a large oversized coat like a puffa jacket it is a good feature. These pops of red also make the wearer visible in various snowy conditions being another selling point.
