The Jacket; I started off using 2 sheets of wadding in my padded jacket. When starting my work from home my sewing machine couldn’t handle the amount of fabric and kept jamming and snagging so I made a compromise and I used one sheet of wadding in-between the fabric. I also wanted to use the dyed poly cotton fabric for both sides of my jacket but it didn’t give it enough structure. I then did the inside layer in calico an this helped to hold its shape.
The Top; the neckline on the top was too small and so I made this 2 cm wider and I was not pleased with the height on the collar as I wanted it to stand up quite tall. I then added 4 centimetres onto this height.

The Knitted Jumper; the knitted jumper started off as a long sleeve but after developing some designs I decided to have one knitted jumper that was long sleeve and oversized and then the jumper I created I changed it to a slightly cropped sleeve with a slightly cropped length, this then made the feature waist band visible.

The Trousers; The trousers were, in my eyes, perfect and exactly what I wanted to create. These stayed the same from the toile through to the finished garment.
The Shorts; for these I used my trousers pattern, changed the waistband to a smaller one and I cut them short to just below the knee. I had to do this because the university had already closed down due to Covid-19. But! these turned out really well and I loved the look they gave.
